Marilyn Comrie
is the inspirational founder and CEO of LeaderGen, who has been recognised by
Her Majesty The Queen for her outstanding contribution to industry, and was honoured with the Kofi Annan
African Leadership Excellence Award for her pioneering work promoting African private sector
development, and again on June 16th 2009 was awarded by the Her Majesty The Queen the OBE for services to
Women's Enterprise. spent her formative years as a young black girl living in a poor part of town where
most of the people she knew were either members of gangs, or gang leaders, engaging in constant conflict and
stress. At school she was brighter than most but played dumb to avoid attention. Later on, she took up a career in television and after 17 years in the business found herself making documentaries. Her work involved long hours and left little time for family life. As a result, Marilyn sought the advice of a career development consultant, and ultimately decided to move into Lifestyle Coaching. She went into business with partners, which heralded a period of enormous change in her life. Marilyn's talent for making things happen showed her that there are often better ways of doing things. However, her business partners resisted change and eventually the coaching business collapsed leaving Marilyn carrying the major part of the debt. That was when she began to look into herself for the answers to why things hadn't worked out as she planned, and with the guidance of Paul began working with her inner self-beliefs. Just a few months later she changed her life around completely after discovering how her early upbringing had created self-defeating patterns of behaviour. Personal Empowerment Program (PEP-Systems) helped her to replace these patterns of behaviour with new ones that have helped her achieve incredible success on her own terms. She now runs her own business coaching company associated with Corporate Governance and has contracts pending with major businesses in India and other Asian countries. Marilyn has used the program material to develop her much sought after company Leadergen that is now expanding into international markets. Marilyn is frequently amazed at how her company has developed beyond her wildest dreams, and continues to use Success Generation to inspire her to develop ideas and their implementation. Marilyn is also now a member of a British Government Crown Agents, which brings her to a hair's breadth of realising of being Britain's answer to Condoleezza Rice. She also ran a workshop for Afro-Caribbean women starting their own businesses, which incorporates much of Paul's PEP System. This proved to be a successful project and was completed in March 2006. Now Marilyn is in demand world wide and has just returned from the Ukraine working with the country's radio and media company and is preparing to fly out to Meet the Bank of Ghana to advise them. June 2006 . These are some of Marilyn's comments
Marilyn and her company are now working closely with the World Bank and other Government Bodies to promote leadership development on and around the African Continent and other Asian Countries. This time I went to see him as from 31/8/06 I was diagnosed with calcium Bone Spurs and Palantu facihus in both feet and tendonitis in right foot. I was on a number of different pain killers. I was given quartozone injections in my right foot as this was the most painful, when that didnt improve my medical condition I was referred for physiotherapy where I received a number of treatments, I was given acupuncture, electric shock treatment and regular massage and electric scan treatments, all to no avail. I was referred to Queens Hospital in Romford on February 07, the consultant after examining me and talking to me was concerned that I may have a bone disease as I was now getting pain in my hips, knees and back and referred me for a complete body scan, my results came back that I did not have bone disease, but my back is damaged and that I have severe palantu facihus and bone spurs. In the meantime I had to return to work and as I was still unable to walk,my work arranged for me to have a taxi to take me to and from work, my Doctor was very unhappy for me to return to work as I was still not fit for work and she had to be convinced that would only be doing light duties, and the fact that work were willing to help with the taxis were the only reason she agreed to let me go back, she was very concerned that if I did too much or work did not look after me properly I would be in a wheelchair in the very near future. When I went to see Paul I had pains from my back to my feet. After just the very 1st session I felt a definite improvement, and as I used the new ways of thinking about my condition there was a steady improvement over the few weeks before my next appointment. Soon I was walking with only a little pain, and people from work were commenting on how much I had improved in a matter of weeks. Paul definitely does miracles with his powerful training and mentoring therapy. I find that using his methods are easy to use and would recommend Paul to anyone who has any issues. I wish to thank Paul for giving me my life back Denise Race 16/9/07 back to menu |
